Does Converse offer a military discount?

Converse has a rich history of serving and being inspired by the military. Converse offers 10% off to all active, reservist, veteran, and retired U.S. Military personnel as well as the spouses and dependents of active personnel.

This offer is available to military personnel who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Converse uses SheerID, a trusted partner, to verify that you are a member of the military. SheerID only collects information that assists in verifying your eligibility. Additional information or documentation may be requested. Get help + Privacy Policy

Online Process

To claim your military discount on Converse.com, you’ll need to first verify eligibility in your shopping cart or during Step 2 of Checkout, by providing the necessary credentials that you will be asked for.

Once verification is completed, click the link to be routed back to Converse.com, and the 10% discount will be automatically applied in cart. Some exclusions apply.

In-Stores

To receive your discount in-store, simply show a valid military ID at checkout.


Terms

Converse Limited Edition, Custom, Converse By You, NBA Licensed Product, and Converse gift cards are not eligible for the Converse Military Discount.

Your military discount link is for single use only. However, you’re welcome to receive a 15% discount every time you shop on Converse.com. You’ll just need to re-verify your eligibility each time.

If you’re active duty or retired military you may be eligible for discounts at many restaurants, businesses, and local establishments. 

This includes all five branches: Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Marine corps. Often the National Guard and Reserves are also included.

Often documentation is required to prove involvement with military and other government organizations. 

To present your proof of active duty or veteran status make sure you have at least one of the following documents. 

  • Military ID card (Active and expired ID card)
  • State-issued ID that lists veteran status (i.e., a driver’s license)
  • Form DD 214 (Dept. of Defense discharge papers)

No. Most of the time the military member is required to apply for the discount for themselves and/or family.

Normally military discounts are reserved for the military member. Occasionally, depending on discount policy, immediate family members may also use it.
